Gap Residence

Longtime friends of ours purchased a home and hired us to develop a scheme for a whole house makeover. We recommended tearing out a lot of walls and installing some big steel beams to open up the space. We tore off some stuff here and added some stuff there. The entire first floor was reorganized and transformed.
Christiana Cabinetry designed and built a new kitchen for the project, and Rittenhouse Builders put it all together. Projects like this one go better when you have a good team that communicates and gets along- plus a little laughter helps. Laughing is a whole lot better than crying.
Fun fact: The owner and founder of Christiana Cabinetry gave me one of my first paying jobs as a draftsman when I was 15 years old or so. Still working together nearly 40 years later on cool projects like this one.
